Africa Electricity
Africa Electricity is the new launch event from the team behind the hugely successful Middle East Electricity.
Taking place on 15 -‐ 17 November, international manufacturers, solution providers and suppliers will be able to meet with senior representatives from regional utilities, government agencies and contractors to network and identify opportunities in rapidly growing energy markets including power, water, lighting, renewable and nuclear.
Only 55% of the rural population has access to electricity with government plans to achieve universal access to electricity by 2012. The Integrated National Electrification Program (INEP) is creating new infrastructure, while maintaining its existing framework, to ensure that previously unconnected households have access to electricity.
