New hotels continue to attract top designers


Five star hotels are still being developed across Dubai, attracting design companies to the UAE.

• Sofitel is launching a new luxuriously decorated hotel in Jumeirah later this year, General Manger Gilles Longuet, said: "Dubai is a fast developing and expanding market offering more opportunities for hotels to establish themselves.  With a growing demand for luxury living in the region, it is the right place to be."

• Leading interior contracting service, Depa Limited has won a US$32.7million (Dh129million) contract for the fit-out works of the prestigious Palazzo Versace Hotel in Dubai.

 
Interiors

• Located in the new US$13.6billion Culture Village leisure project, the hotel is due for completion in April 2010 and will feature the world's first air conditioned beach.
